I am Katie, a South African, living in Hong Kong with my husband and three  Australian born daughters.  I feel very fortunate to have been able to travel often throughout my life.

My career started in brand marketing for the publisher of Australia's leading women’s lifestyle magazines.  I was privileged to work with  inspiring and creative people for many years and it was here that I grew my appreciation for the power of beautiful images.  After a decade in publishing, I pursued photography and it is children who I focused my lens on.  Their free spirited and uninhibited natures, is what made me fall in love with photography.  I am passionate about capturing the moments, and crafting vibrant, energetic images that are as unique as the people in the pictures.

On a shoot, what I do with my camera is only one element of making a photograph.  Over the years, I have been lucky to collaborate with amazing clients who appreciate that beautiful images can only be created if styling and energy are committed in equal measures.  When all of these elements are in place, incredible light allows the magic to happen.
